Macrae Releases 2025 Litigation Partner Movement Report
Macrae has released its latest Macrae+ Legalscape: Litigation – London report, analysing partner movement across disputes practices from 2020 through projected activity for 2025. As covered in the Solicitors Journal, the findings point to a period of steady, strategy-led growth in the market, with annual moves holding in a consistent range and rising to 35 so far this year.
The report highlights the practice areas driving activity - including increased movement in IP disputes and product and professional liability work - alongside continued dominance of lateral hiring, which accounts for 83% of moves in 2025 year-to-date. It also explores where firms are expanding their benches and examines gender representation trends across the sector.
