Ryan joined Macrae in 2025 as a partner, bringing extensive experience placing high-value legal talent in New York. Throughout his career, he has successfully executed numerous partner and group moves - including several high-profile, front-page placements at top AmLaw firms.

Known as a trusted advisor to both clients and candidates, Ryan offers deep market insight and a thoughtful, strategic approach to search.

Before joining Macrae, he led the partner practice at an international search firm. Ryan holds a J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School and an A.B. in Art History from the University of Michigan.

He lives in New York with his wife and daughter, and enjoys spending time on the East End, collecting wine, and chasing par on the golf course.
